UPDATE: Ditch cleaning project on LA 383 from MP 16, 17 to begin next week in Jeff Davis Parish
UPDATE: This work is expected to be complete on Thursday, June 3, 2021.
Due to weather, this work has been postponed to Monday, May 24 through Thursday, May 27.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that ditches along LA 383 in Jeff Davis Parish will be cleaned beginning Monday, 05/17/21, and lasting through Thursday, 05/20/21 between the hours of 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
As these ditches are located within curves along LA 383, a message board has been put in place to notify motorists of the operation and a pilot vehicle will be utilized for safety while the crew is at work.
This work is being performed to assist with drainage.
