RAMP CLOSURE: I-20 eastbound to I-49 southbound at Pete Harris Dr., Caddo Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, the I-20 eastbound to I-49 southbound ramp at Pete Harris Drive (Exit 17B) in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed.

This ramp closure is scheduled to take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow for repairs to the crash attenuator at this location.

A crash attenuator, also known as an impact attenuator, is a device intended to reduce damage to structures, vehicles, and lessen injuries to motorists resulting from a collision. These devices are designed to absorb the colliding vehicle’s energy.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
