The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, Exit 19A (Spring/Market Street) from I-20 westbound will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. on May 18th and last until 6:00 a.m. on May 19th, and is necessary to allow for repairs to the crash attenuator at this location.
A crash attenuator, also known as an impact attenuator, is a device intended to reduce damage to structures, vehicles, and lessen injuries to motorists resulting from a collision. These devices are designed to absorb the colliding vehicle’s energy.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
