UPDATE: THIS WORK HAS BEEN CANCELED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED AT A LATER DATE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.
The I-10 westbound entrance and exit ramps at Exit 115 - LA 347 (Henderson, Cecilia) will be closed on Tuesday, May 11 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, May 12 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
Additionally, the westbound I-10 travel lanes will have alternating lane closures from mile marker 116 to mile marker 113 on Tuesday, May 11 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, May 12 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
The westbound entrance and exit ramp closures and alternating lane closures are necessary as part of the construction operations to remove the I-10 eastbound Melvin Dupuis Bridge.
The detour for westbound interstate traffic is to continue on I-10 westbound to Exit 109 (LA 328), proceed south on LA 328 (Rees Street) to Exit 109 (I-10 eastbound entrance ramp), and then I-10 eastbound to Exit 115 - LA 347 (Henderson, Cecilia).
The detour for traffic on LA 347 requesting to travel on I-10 westbound will proceed eastward on Exit 115 (I-10 eastbound entrance ramp) to Exit 121 (Butte La Rose), proceed north on LA 3177 (Atchafalaya River Highway), then proceed westward on Exit 121 (I-10 westbound entrance ramp).
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays.
