I-10 WB Exit Ramp at Exit 104 (Louisiana Avenue), Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closure
Thursday, May 06, 2021 at 2:48:30 PM
The I-10 westbound exit ramp at Exit 104 (Louisiana Avenue) will be closed on Saturday, May 8 at 8:00 p.m. until Sunday, May 9 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to perform asphalt operations on the roadway.

The detour for traffic is to continue on I-10 westbound to Exit 103A (US 167 South), US 167 south to Exit 1A (I-10 eastbound entrance ramp), and then I-10 eastbound to Exit 104 (Louisiana Avenue).

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
