LA 1 EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE (IBERVILLE PARISH) - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 1 Northbound/Church St., in Plaquemine will be closed from Fort St. to Main St, beginning Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM on Sunday, May 9, 2021.

This emergency closure is necessary to repair a collapsed sewer line.

No thru traffic will be allowed during this emergency road closure.

Detour signs will be posted.

Motorist traveling LA 1 NB should turn right on Fort St., left on Seminary St, then left on Main St., to get back to LA 1.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
