LA 324 on the Charenton Bridge over Bayou Teche, St Mary Parish, Alternating Lane Closures for In-Depth Bridge Inspection

There will be alternating lane closures on LA 324 on the Charenton Bridge over Bayou Teche on Monday, May 10 until Saturday, May 15, to allow for in-depth bridge inspections.
These closures are estimated to take place, daily, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The bridge inspection is part of normal processes required to ensure the continued safe operation of the region’s transportation facilities.
The road will be open to regular traffic with 12-foot lane restrictions on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
