INTERMITTENT LANE CLOSURES: LA 511 (W. 70th St.), Caddo Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, there will be intermittent lane closures on LA 511 (W. 70th Street) eastbound near the I-49 interchange in Shreveport, Caddo Parish.

These lane closures are scheduled to take place Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and last approximately three (3) weeks.

These intermittent lane closures are necessary to allow KCS Railroad to perform maintenance to their railroad overpass at this location.

Alternate route: N/A. These lane closures will be monitored for congestion and times will be adjusted if necessary.

Restrictions/Permits: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
