LA 1 SB (Outside) Lane Closure at Bayou Plaquemine Bridge in Iberville Parish
Southbound LA 1 at the Bayou Plaquemine Bridge (Plaquemine) in Iberville Parish. The outside lane will be closed across entire length of bridge on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. while crews perform an inspection on the bridge. Also on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. the outside lane will be closed along with intermittent road closures while crews perform an inspection on the bridge.
Detour Information
This closure will allow vehicles 12-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using LA 1 North to I-10 East to LA22 South to LA 70 South to LA 1 North.
