The Houma Tunnel crossing the Intracoastal Canal Waterway (ICWW) on LA 3040 in Houma, LA will be continuously closed to vehicular traffic from 9:00 p.m. on Friday April 30, 2021 until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday May 1, 2021 and from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday May 2, 2021 in order to allow Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office personnel to perform cleaning and/or maintenance work in the tunnel.
Alternate routes available for crossing the ICWW are:
LA 24/LA 659 (Twin Span Bridge) and LA 315 (Dularge Bridge).
