UPDATE: NOW OPEN TO TRAFFIC!!
Effective immediately, LA 91 at the Estherwood Pontoon Bridge is closed until further notice for emergency bridge inspection and repairs.
The detour consists of LA 91, US 90, LA 13, and I-10. Detour signs will be posted.
Emergency vehicles will not have access through the area.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
