Louisiana Avenue NB & SB between I-10 Ramps, Lafayette Parish, Alternating Lane Closures

The northbound & southbound lanes of Louisiana Avenue, between the I-10 EB and WB ramps, will have daily alternating lane closures between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. beginning Monday, April 26 until Friday, April 30.
These closures are necessary to allow crews to install underpass bridge lighting.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with this lane closure.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.
The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).
The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
