UPDATE: Intermittent closure of the I-10 westbound off ramp at the Sabine River Turnaround (Exit 1) – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: This closure has been extended to August 2021.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists the I-10 westbound off ramp at the Sabine River Turnaround (Exit 1) will be intermittently closed for approximately two months.

The closure will occur as needed by the contractor for the ongoing I-10 widening project. It will allow crews to have better access to the construction site.

The ramp and the turnaround will remain open for use by emergency and critical use vehicles.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
