UPDATE - RESCHEDULED: LA 5 near LA 789 in Keatchie, DeSoto Parish
(UPDATE 4/28/2021): DOTD advises motorists that this road closure has been RESCHEDULED for Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Original notification:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, LA 5 at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing just east of its intersection with LA 789 in Keatchie, DeSoto Parish will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to last one (1) day from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow the railroad company to make repairs to the tracks.
Alternate route: Road closure in both directions. Detour signage will be in place.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
