I-10 eastbound entrance ramp at Exit 104 (Louisiana Avenue) will be closed on Thursday, April 22 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, April 23 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform asphalt operations on the roadway.

The detour for traffic is I-10 Westbound via Louisiana Avenue, I-10 Westbound to Exit 103A (US 167 South exit ramp), and US 167 South to Exit 1A (I-10 Eastbound).

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
