I-10 EB & WB from Exit 109 (LA 328) to Exit 103 (I-49), Lafayette Parish - Lane Closures
Thursday, April 01, 2021 at 2:22:06 PM
There will be nightly lane closures between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on both I-10 eastbound & westbound from Exit 109 (LA 328) to Exit 103 (I-49) beginning Monday, April 5 until Wednesday, April 14, weather permitting.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to prepare the roadway for asphalt operations.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with these lane closures.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
