LANE CLOSURES: Hollywood Avenue at I-49, Caddo Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, there will be intermittent lane closures at the Hollywood Avenue interchange with I-49 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish.

These lane closures will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day, and are necessary to allow KCS Railroad to perform maintenance to their railroad overpass at this location.

The anticipated lane closure schedule is as follows:
  • Tuesday, April 6th: Hollywood Ave. eastbound turn lane to I-49 southbound and left lane on Hollywood Avenue.
  • Wednesday, April 7th: Hollywood Ave. eastbound turn lane to I-49 northbound and right lane on Hollywood Avenue.
  • Thursday, April 8th: One lane of the I-49 northbound ramp to Hollywood Ave. westbound and the Hollywood Ave. eastbound turn lane to I-49 northbound.
  • Friday, April 9th: One lane of the I-49 southbound off ramp to Hollywood Ave.
  • Monday, April 12th: One lane of the I-49 southbound off ramp to Hollywood Ave.
  • Tuesday, April 13th: One lane of the I-49 northbound ramp to Hollywood Ave. westbound and Hollywood Ave. eastbound turn lane to I-49 northbound.
  • Wednesday, April 14th: Hollywood Ave. eastbound turn lane to I-49 northbound and Hollywood Ave. eastbound right lane.
  • Thursday, April 15th: Hollywood Ave. eastbound right lane and Hollywood Ave. eastbound turn lane to I-49 southbound.
Alternate route: N/A. These lane closures will be monitored for congestion and times will be adjusted if necessary.

Restrictions/Permits: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
