Friday, March 26, 2021 at 2:08:25 PM
I-10 westbound exit ramp at Exit 103B (I-49 Northbound) will be closed on the following nights, weather permitting:

  • Tuesday, March 30 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, March 31 at 6:00 a.m.
  • Wednesday, March 31 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, April 1 at 6:00 a.m.
These closures are necessary to allow crews to perform asphalt operations on the roadway.

The detour for traffic is I-10 Westbound to Exit 103A (US 167 South exit ramp), US 167 South to Exit 1A (I-10 Eastbound), and I-10 Eastbound to Exit 103B (I-49 Northbound).

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
