UPDATE: LA 384 NB (University Drive) at Jefferson Drive – Calcasieu Parish

Update:The water has receded and the roadway is passable.

During inclement weather, motorists are advised roadway conditions may change quickly.

Original notification:

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises that the northbound lanes on LA 384 (University Drive) at Jefferson Drive is experiencing high water.

This area will continue to be monitored and updates will be issued if this roadway becomes impassable and a closure is required.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
