DOTD announces upcoming LA 70 lane closures in Ascension Parish

There will be alternating lane closures on La 70 about 1.6-miles south of La 22. This closure will take place on Tuesday March 23rd. This closure will extend for about another .5 miles from 1:30 pm until about 4:00 pm. There will be flagman present. Use caution when approaching the work area as the traffic may be stopped. This closure is necessary to safely install a weight study system.
