I-10 EB Entrance Ramp at Exit 109 (Breaux Bridge), St. Martin Parish, Ramp Closure
Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 1:33:13 PM
The I-10 eastbound entrance ramp at Exit 109 (Breaux Bridge) will be closed Friday, March 12 at 8:00 p.m. until Saturday, March 13 at 2:00 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to swap traffic onto the newly constructed lanes.

The detour for eastbound traffic is to take I-10 westbound to Exit 104 (LA Avenue) then back onto I-10 eastbound.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in May 2021.
