Temporary intersection modifications on LA 378 at Phillips Road in Calcasieu Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that temporary intersection modifications and movement restrictions have been implemented on LA 378 (Davis Road) at Philips Road.
The southbound through lane on LA 378 (Davis Road) is closed and traffic is being diverted to the newly installed turn lane. This will allow crews to install a raised concrete island between the new right turn lane and the southbound through lane. Additionally, northbound traffic on Davis Road will not be allowed to turn left onto LA 378 (Phillips Road).
These modifications are expected to be in place for approximately 2 weeks. The entire project is estimated to be complete in summer 2021. All construction activity is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
