Intermittent lane closures on I-10 EB from the weigh scales to east of Vinton – Calcasieu Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces intermittent short term closures of the left lane on I-10 eastbound from the weigh scales (MM 3) to east of Vinton (MM 10) on Sunday, January 31, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The closure will only occur while the haul truck is being loaded. When a haul truck is not present and loading debris, the lane will reopen to traffic.

The lane closure is necessary to remove hurricane debris from the median of Interstate 10.
