BATON ROUGE, La.  – The St. Francisville/New Roads Ferry closed on Saturday to allow maintenance workers to replace a clutch and oil pump on the ferry.  The ferry will reopen noon Dec. 12 after maintenance is completed.

The normal operating hours for the ferry are 4 a.m. to midnight.  The ferry service schedule is quarter past the hour and forty-five past the hour on the New Roads side.  On the St. Francisville side, the ferry runs on the hour and half past the hour.
