I-10 Eastbound and Westbound - Partial Road Closure - Project #: H.011024 - St. Tammany Parish

Closure Details:
I-10 Eastbound and Westbound will have a partial road closure affecting the other (see comments) with a scheduled start of November 30, 2020 at 7:00 PM and a scheduled end of December 22, 2020 at 5:00 AM (weather permitting). The closure will have alternating travel through the area. This closure will occur nightly. The location starts at I-10 - Twsin Span Mile Post - 260.05 and ends at I-10/i-12/i-59 Interchange Mile Post - 267.4.

Public Comments for I-10 Partial Lane Closure: These closures are for crews to finish striping operations on I-10 in Slidell. Closure Details for Alternating Full Ramp Closures: I-10 will have alternating full ramp closures with a scheduled start of November 30, 2020 at 10:00 PM and a scheduled end of December 13, 2020 at 5:00 AM (weather permitting). These closures will occur nightly between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM. The location is I-10 Eastbound and Westbound, between I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange and the I-10 Twin Spans. Public Comments for I-10 Partial Lane Closure: The alternating full ramp closures will be for the Oak Harbor Blvd. Interchange, the LA 433 Interchange, the Fremaux Ave. Interchange, and the Gause Blvd. Interchange. Only one interchange will be closed at a time. This is for crews to finish striping operations on I-10 in Slidell.

Detour:
Motorist are advised to utilize the ramps and Service Roads of the nearest available interchange to get to your destination. Please direct attention to the message boards on the project for nightly ramp closures.

Restrictions:
There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access on I-10. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
