ROAD CLOSURE
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, LA 542 in Jackson Parish, east of Hodge, LA will be closed at a location 1.6 miles south of LA 811 to replace a culvert under the roadway.
The road closure is anticipated to last one week.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
Permit/Detour
The detour route will be LA 811, US 167, LA 813, and LA 542.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
