BRIDGE CLOSURE

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, beginning 8:00 AM Tuesday, November 17, 2020, Dry Creek Bridge on LA 34 in Jackson Parish will be CLOSED to all through traffic, approximately 500 feet south of LA 810.

This bridge closure is required to allow the DOTD maintenance crews to make necessary repairs to the bridge.

This closure is anticipated to be reopened Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.

PERMIT/DETOUR:

The detour can be accessed using routes LA 810, LA 505, LA 147 and LA 34.

SAFETY REMINDER:

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
