Kaliste Saloom Road, Lafayette Parish, Traffic Switch

The westbound inside travel lane of Kaliste Saloom Road will be closed approximately 500 ft east and west of its intersection with LA 3073 (Ambassador Caffery Parkway) starting on Wednesday, November 18 at 9:00 a.m.
Motorists traveling eastbound and westbound on Kaliste Saloom Road will be directed to the newly constructed concrete lanes between LA 3073 and N. Meyers Drive. Western Cherokee Lane at its intersection with Kaliste Saloom Road will remain closed and new closures will include E. Farrel Road and Huntington Drive at their intersections with Kaliste Saloom Road. Kensington Drive will also be closed at its intersection with Kaliste Saloom Road on Wednesday, November 18 and is anticipated to reopen on Thursday, November 19. Motorists are encouraged to use S. Meyers Drive or Frem Boustany Drive as detours.
These closures are anticipated to last approximately three months, weather permitting, and are necessary to complete work related to the ongoing widening of Kaliste Saloom Road.
