RAMP CLOSURE: I-20 westbound on-ramp from Murphy St., Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, the I-20 westbound on-ramp from Murphy Street in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed.
This ramp closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow the contractor to repair the crash attenuator.
A crash attenuator, also known as an impact attenuator, is a device intended to reduce damage to structures, vehicles, and lessen injuries to motorists resulting from a collision. These devices are designed to absorb the colliding vehicle’s energy.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
