Road closure on LA 26 between Clara Street and Plaquemine Street – Jefferson Davis Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 26 (MM 65.9) at the BNSF railroad crossing between Clara Street and Plaquemine Street will be closed on Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The closure will allow BNSF railroad to make repairs to the crossing. Southbound traffic may detour via LA 26 to US 90 to LA 382 to LA 1126 to LA 26. Northbound traffic may detour via LA 26 to LA 1126 to LA 382 to US 90 to LA 26. All work is weather permitting.
Oversized loads will not be permitted through the closures, and must use the detour route.
