DOTD announces upcoming US 61 (Airline Hwy) Lane closure in East Baton Rouge Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces upcoming lane closure on US 61, from Irene Rd. to LA 64 (Mt. Pleasant-Zachary Rd.)
The Northbound lane will be closed Wednesday November 4, 2020 from 9AM to 4 PM. All work is weather permitting.
The lane closures are necessary for crews to relocate barrier rails.
Motorists may encounter excessive delays during the peak times of this closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
