LA 82 reopens, limited ferry service to resume tomorrow in Cameron Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces LA 82 (MM 42) between the Cameron Ferry and Holly Beach has reopened and limited ferry service will resume tomorrow, Monday, November 2, 2020. In accordance with the parish curfew, the ferry will be operational daily from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. until further notice.

Crews have completed repairing the roadway. Drivers may experience short term delays as crews begin removing the dam and demobilizing equipment.

As a reminder, ferry tolls are $1 and are collected for drivers traveling east to west.
