UPDATE: Alternating lane closure on I-10 WB from the Texas state line to east of LA 109 – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: Due to weather, the closure scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that I-10 westbound from the Texas state line to east of LA 109 (MP 1.25 to 5.53) will have alternating one lane closures nightly Monday, October 26 and Tuesday, October 27 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The lane closures are necessary for roadway construction. All work is weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
