I-10 EB from MM 108 (Bayou Teche) to MM 109 (Breaux Bridge), St. Martin Parish - Lane Closure
Friday, October 23, 2020 at 8:18:53 AM
The outside lane of I-10 eastbound from mile marker 108 (Bayou Teche) to mile marker 109 (Breaux Bridge) will be closed on Sunday October 25 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday October 26 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to swap traffic on the LA 328 off ramp so that the remainder of the ramp may be constructed.

The road will be open to regular traffic with no vehicle restrictions.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays. No detour.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in March 2021.
