I-10 EB Exit Ramp (Exit 109) at LA 328 (Breaux Bridge), St. Martin Parish - Ramp Closure

The off ramp of I-10 eastbound at Exit 109 (LA 328 – Breaux Bridge) will be closed on the night of Sunday, October 25 from 8:00 p.m. until Monday, October 26 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to swap traffic on the LA 328 off ramp so crews can reconstruct the remaining portion of the ramp.
The detour for traffic is to continue on I-10 eastbound to Exit 115 (LA 347 – Henderson) then onto I-10 westbound back to Exit 109 (LA 328 – Breaux Bridge).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).
The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in March 2021.
