LA 93 (Westgate Rd.) NB from Dullles Drive to US 90 (Cameron St.), Lafayette Parish, Traffic Shift & Alternating Lane Closures

The traffic on the northbound lane of LA 93 (Westgate Road) from Dulles Drive to US 90 (Cameron Street) will be shifted from the northbound lane to the center lane. The southbound traffic will be shifted from the center lane to the reconstructed southbound lane beginning Tuesday, October 20, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for restriping.
Additionally, there will be alternating lane closures beginning Tuesday, October 20 until Sunday, November 20, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The lane shift and alternating closures are necessary to allow crews to reconstruct the northbound travel lane.
The road will be open to regular traffic with 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area, but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.
