ROAD CLOSURE: LA 550 / UNION PARISH

*****LA 550 HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC******
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that construction work is ongoing on LA 550 in Union Parish from its junction with LA 2 to its intersection with LA 15. Beginning Monday, September 21, 2020, LA 550 will be closed to thru traffic approximately 0.5 miles south of its intersection with LA 15. This road closure is necessary to allow for a cross drain replacement and is scheduled to last no more than seven days.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
Alternate Route
Detour routes will be provided as follows:
Eastbound - LA 2 West to US 167 North to LA 15 East
Westbound - LA 15 West to US 167 South to LA 2 East
