US 190 Westbound in Hammond at Railroad Tracks – Tangipahoa Parish


There will be a roadway closure on US 190 Westbound (E. Thomas St.) in Hammond at the railroad tracks located 120 feet east of US 51 Business (SW Railroad Ave). The road will be closed from 7:00 AM, on Thursday October 1, 2020, through 6:00 AM on Friday, October 2, 2020, for railroad and asphalt related work.

Permit/Detour Section:

The following detour will be posted:

Motorists traveling US 190 east shall take US 51 (N. Morrison Blvd.) north to LA 3234 (University Ave.), then east to N. Cherry Street (old LA 1065), then south to re-intersect US 190.

Motorists traveling US 190 west shall take N. Cherry St. (old LA 1065) north to LA 3234 (University Ave.), then west to US 51 (N. Morrison Blvd.), then south to re-intersect US 190.
