***UPDATE: POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE*** - LA 440, St. Helena Parish, Road Closure

LA 440 will be closed to all traffic approximately 4 miles east of LA 441 and 1 mile west of LA 1049 beginning 8:00 AM on Monday, August 31, 2020 thru 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2020. This closure will allow crews to replace the existing cross drain. Motorist should use the following detour.
DETOUR:
Motorist traveling westbound on LA 440 should take LA 1049 north to LA 1050 west to LA 38 west to LA 441 south back to LA 440.
Motorist traveling eastbound on LA 440 should take LA 441 north to LA 38 east to LA 1050 east to LA 1049 south back to LA 440.
