UPDATE: LA 3144/Susek Drive Roundabout, Rapdies Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises motorists that beginning Friday, August 21, 2020 at 6:00 PM, weather permitting, the southbound lane of LA 3144 (Edgewood Drive) at Susek Drive in Pineville, Rapides Parish will be closed.

This closure will start at the roundabout and continue south on LA 3144 (Edgewood Drive) for approximately 400 feet to the southernmost driveway of Pineville Junior High. This lane closure is needed to conduct follow-up work in the southbound lane of LA 3144 (Edgewood Drive).

This closure should last approximately 48 hours.

Permit/Detour section:

LA 28 (East) Westbound to LA 3144 (Edgewood Drive):

Traffic from LA 28 (East) Westbound will be detoured onto US 167 (Pineville Expressway) Northbound followed by a right onto LA 3144 (Edgewood Drive).

US 167 (Pineville Expressway) to LA 3144 (Edgewood Drive):

Traffic from US 167 (Pineville Expressway) will be detoured onto LA 28 (East) Eastbound followed by a left onto LA 3144 (Edgewood Drive).

All construction activity is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. DOTD appreciates the motoring public’s patience and reminds drivers to please exercise caution when traveling through work zone areas and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
