UPDATE: ROAD CLOSURE 9/1 and 9/2 Nightly- I-20/Well Road Overpass, Ouachita Parish

UPDATE (8/31/2020) The Well Road overpass will close nightly on Tuesday evening, September 1and Wednesday evening, September 2 at 6:30 pm to continue the construction postponed this past weekend due to the weather. The overpass will reopen the following morning no later than 7am. Weather permitting.

UPDATE (8/25/2020): CORRECTED DATES - DOTD advises motorists that the I-20/Well Road overpass in West Monroe, Ouachita Parish is scheduled to close Friday, August 28, 2020 at 8 p.m. through approximately 7:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020. This closure is necessary to allow for continued construction on the Well Road Roundabout and diversion roads, weather permitting.

ROAD CLOSURE - I-20/Well Road (LA 3249) overpass - August 22 through August 23
SP H.010287 - Roundabout at I-20/Well Road - West Monroe, Ouachita Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the Well road (LA 3249) overpass I-20 in West Monroe, Ouachita Parish, will be closed Saturday, August 22 to accommodate construction of the I-20/Well Road roundabout.

The closure is scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 22 and last through the end of the day on Sunday, August 23, 2020.

Westbound traffic will be able to exit north of I-20 on Well road and eastbound traffic will be able to exit south of I-20 on Well Road.

Detours will be posted on I-20 and Well Road.

This construction will occur weather permitting.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
