UPDATE: Intermittent lane closures at the intersection of LA 385 (Ryan Street)/LA 384 (University Drive) – Lake Charles – Calcasieu Parish
UPDATE: The closure scheduled for today, August 4 has been rescheduled to Thursday, August 6 with the same times.
Alternating intermittent lane closures will occur on LA 385 (Ryan Street) from Aqua Drive through the intersection of Ryan/University. The closure will take place Tuesday, August 4 and Wednesday, August 5 between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.
Access to the intersection will be limited through the closure. Motorists should expect delays at the intersection, and are advised to take alternate routes if possible. The closure is necessary for crews to lay the final layer of asphalt - known as the wearing course . All work is weather dependent.
