**REOPENED** LA 40, Water On Roadway, Tangipahoa Parish

Flood waters have receded and the roadway has been reopened. 7/27/2020 2:35 PM

LA 40, .3 miles east of LA 1062, there is water on the roadway. The roadway is still passable at this time.
This area will continuously be monitored and updates will be put out when necessary.
Safety Reminder:
With the threat of heavy rainfall that may impact areas of the state, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) reminds motorists to take extra precautions should traveling be necessary.
