EXTENDED!! I-10 WB from Exit 115 - LA 347 (Henderson, Cecilia) to MM 114.5, St. Martin Parish, Alternating Lane Closures

UPDATE: Due to inclement weather this closure has been extended until Thursday, July 23 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
I-10 westbound from Exit 115 - LA 347 (Henderson, Cecilia) to mile marker 114.5 will have alternating lane closures on Monday, July 20 at 8 p.m. until Tuesday, July 21 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to restripe the LA 347 bridge and repair bridge joints on the structure.
This work is related to the FASTLANE I-10 widening project (State Project Number H.003014). This $54.7 million project will involve pavement replacement within the existing lanes in each direction for 2.7 miles along I-10 from LA 347 to the base of the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge. An additional lane will be added in the westbound direction.
With the help of the FASTLANE grant, this is the second of three projects to reconstruct and widen the I-10 corridor from I-49 to the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge.
The project began in July 2017 and is estimated for completion in September 2020.
