UPDATE: Alternating lane closures on LA 397– Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: Today’s lane closure has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. DOTD will issue a notification when that rescheduling occurs.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that LA 397 will have alternating lane closures between Farm Road and McNeese Street today, Thursday, July 16 until 6 p.m. and Friday, July 17 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The closures are necessary for crews to mill and overlay the roadway. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone by flaggers. All work is weather dependent.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
