LA 176 (Moss Street) NB & SB under the I-10 Overpass, Lafayette Parish, Road Closure

LA 176 (Moss Street) northbound and southbound under the I-10 overpass will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, July 19 until Friday, July 24, weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to paint the LA 176 bridge.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
The detour for southbound traffic will be East Gloria Switch Road heading west to I-49/US90/US 167, South to East Simcoe Street and back east to LA 176 (Moss Street).
The detour for northbound traffic will be East Simcoe Street heading west to I-49/US90/US 167, North to East Gloria Switch Road and back east to LA 176 (Moss Street).
The detour will be posted.
The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).
The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in September 2020.
