On Monday, July 6, 2020 and Tuesday July 7, 2020, there will be alternating left and right lane closures on US 190 (both East and West) at the I-12 Overpass. These closures will be from the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting. This is to allow the contractor to perform bridge construction operations.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.
There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access on US 190. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
There will also be FULL RAMP CLOSURES for I-12 Eastbound and Westbound as follows:
• On Monday, July 6, 2020 and Thursday, July 9, 2020, there will be a FULL RAMP CLOSURE of the I-12 Westbound on-ramp from US 190 West.
• On Tuesday, July 8, 2020, there will be a FULL RAMP CLOSURE of the I-12 Eastbound off-ramp to US 190 West (Exit 63B).
Both of these closures will be from the hours of 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, weather permitting.
Detour Section
Motorists wishing to enter I-12 WB via US 190 West may travel north on US 190, make a legal U-turn, then travel south on US 190 East to get onto I-12 WB.
Motorists traveling I-12 EB wishing to exit US 190 West (Exit 63B) may take Exit 63A towards US 190 East and transition to US 190 West at Fairway Dr/Judge Tanner Blvd.
