DOTD announces upcoming US 190 road closures in East Baton Rouge Parish

East Baton Rouge Parish, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces upcoming, road closures on US 190 eastbound, east of the US 190 Mississippi River Bridge.
The closure will last from 7:00 a.m. through 5 p.m., Saturday, July 18th 2020. All work is weather permitting.
The road closures are necessary for crews to replace the overhead railroad truss.
Alternate route around the US 190 lane closure(s) is:
• LA 1 South to I-10 East to I-110 North to Airline Highway East.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
