*** UPDATE*** DOTD announces upcoming US 190 lane closures in East Baton Rouge Parish

*** Update*** this lane closure had been pushed back a day. Closure now starting Tuesday July 14 and ending Thursday July 16
East Baton Rouge Parish, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces upcoming, alternating lane closures on US 190 eastbound, east of US 190 Mississippi River Bridge.
One lane will be closed in the Eastbound direction each night from 7:00 p.m.to 5:00 a.m., Monday, July 13th, through Friday, July 17th 2020. All work is weather permitting.
The lane closures are necessary for crews to replace the overhead railroad truss.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.
Motorists may encounter excessive delays during the peak times of this closure.
Alternate route around the US 190 lane closure(s) is:
• LA 1 South to I-10 East to I-110 North to Airline Highway East.
