LA 384 SB (University Drive) road closure – Calcasieu Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 384 (University Drive) southbound from McNeese Street to Contour Drive will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Tuesday, June 30 through Thursday, July 2.

Traffic may detour to McNeese Street (LA 385) then to Common Street (LA 385). The closures are necessary for work crews to pour concrete as part of the ongoing improvements project. All work is weather dependent.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
